Sri Lanka Emergency Flood Relief Appeal

Sri Lanka has been devastated by severe flooding, landslides, and destructive winds following the powerful Ditwah cyclone. As of 1st of December 2025 nearly 1,000 people are dead or missing, around 250,000 displaced, and more than 1.4 million affected across the island.

Entire communities have been destroyed, homes washed away, villages submerged, and critical infrastructure collapsed. Landslides in central and hilly regions have buried houses overnight, leaving families without shelter, food, or security. Many masjids, shops, and community buildings have also suffered extensive damage.

Sri Lankan Bolton Community has launched an emergency humanitarian appeal to support those most affected. All donations will be transferred responsibly to trusted partners on the ground providing immediate relief.
